In 2007, Jérôme, passionate about nature travel, fell in love with Panama, where he still lives today. That’s where he created TERRA Caribea, bringing together both Panama and its smaller neighbor, Costa Rica. For over 15 years, TERRA Caribea has been designing unique and immersive travel experiences in these wild paradises.
Our geographical location, between the Caribbean and the Pacific, is one of our greatest assets. With offices in both countries, we have become one of the main local operators in Central America, successfully running many cross-border journeys.

At TERRA Caribea, sustainable tourism is more than a priority, it’s a true passion guiding each of our actions. In 2024, we reached key milestones, such as obtaining the Esencial Costa Rica certification. We also launched new initiatives to increase our positive impact, partnering with Raising Corals to protect coral reefs. In 2025, we continue to move forward with new projects to support local communities and safeguard the environment. We are proud to raise awareness among our teams, partners, and travelers, and to support initiatives that make a real difference for the planet and its people.
