Our travel agency in Colombie
Colombia
Colombia is a warm paradise, a land of contrasts, resilience, and profound encounters.
Discover the cultural richness of its vibrant cities such as Bogotá and Medellín, while savoring some of the finest coffee in the world.
Each region of Colombia reveals a different country. In the Llanos Orientales, Colombian cowboys ride alongside capybaras, deer, caimans, and countless bird species. In the Andes, picturesque villages showcase the country’s Spanish heritage. On the Pacific coast, Chocó reflects Afro-Caribbean history, while its pristine beaches and coastline serve as a refuge for marine life.
Further south, Guaviare tells another story with its millennia-old rock paintings on striking red cliffs.
Everywhere you go, you’ll find warm smiles, heartfelt hospitality, and stories shared over a cup of coffee.
The local agency TERRA Colombia
When Jérôme first arrived in Bogotá as an intern in 1998, it was love at first sight. He stayed for years, deepening his exploration of Latin America. In 2012, Colombia called him back, but this time with a clear project: to create the first French-speaking, tailor-made inbound travel agency in Colombia. For over 10 years, the experts at TERRA Colombia have been connecting travelers with the country’s many cultures. Today, TERRA Colombia is led by Emmeline, who proudly carries forward the agency’s values: being a true craftsman of travel.
Our Commitment to Responsible Tourism
We are deeply committed to developing sustainable and engaged tourism in Colombia. Currently in the process of Travelife certification, we are actively working on initiatives that a local agency can implement. In 2025, we are taking strong steps forward: avoiding participation in the overtourism of certain sites, reducing domestic flights, and donating $10 USD per traveler to the Color y Esperanza Foundation, which supports children in the Chocó region through education.
What makes us unique
Tailor-Made Journeys
For us, every traveler is unique. We take the time to understand your wishes, needs, and travel style to make your Colombian journey truly unforgettable. This extreme personalization ensures authentic and original experiences. During the trip, our team is available 24/7 through our assistance hotline.
Community Encounters
After more than 10 years of exploration, we have built close ties with several indigenous communities in Colombia. We offer meaningful exchanges far from voyeuristic or folkloric tourism. These few days of immersion allow travelers to gain a deeper understanding of the world and meet communities who live in harmony with nature.
Adventures Off the Beaten Path
Out of passion for the sincere and warm Colombia we love, we choose not to showcase places overwhelmed by mass tourism. Instead, we explore hidden corners, preserved ecosystems, and connect with local partners who share our vision of responsible tourism. The result: immersive adventures in nature for travelers seeking authenticity and wonder.
